This exhibition started with just one email, and I felt a very deep connection with it!
The operating company is LAOX, and in fact the first Walkman and mini stereo I bought when I was in elementary and junior high school were all from LAOX in Akihabara. I have vivid memories of saving up my pocket money, tips, and New Year's money to go to LAOX with my parents and having the employees negotiate the price while tapping away on a calculator to buy them.
Even though I'm over 50, my childhood memories are still fun, so I was excited to talk about them. I also talked about my memories of those days with the person in charge, whom I was meeting for the first time, and the conversation proceeded in a friendly atmosphere.
