When I explain the concept of shaving while sitting down, I find that there is demand from women as well.

A long time ago, when my grandparents were in a nursing home and hospital, they used to go to the barber shop in the facility to get their beards shaved when they were still healthy, but as they gradually became less mobile and began to use wheelchairs, they could only go to the barber shop to get their hair cut. Even then, their beards would still grow, so we used an electric shaver, but the hairs that were growing out were really bothering me!
Now that I think about it, I was able to shave because I was a family member.
It seems that care workers are prohibited from shaving, but barbers and family members can shave with a razor.
So this time, I would like to introduce the shaving done by my family members.

1. Shave thoroughly before shaving with a razor.
It is important to do this even if the beard is thin and fine, making sure to moisturize it thoroughly and apply a lubricant such as soap before shaving. It is also a good idea to dip a towel in slightly hot water, wring it out, and place it on your skin. If you have the time, try lathering it up with a brush to make shaving even more comfortable.

2. It is easier to shave if you shave while pulling the skin with the hand opposite the razor. Pulling the skin makes it easier to see the area to be shaved, and because the skin is taut, you can shave neatly.

3. Shave using the weight of the razor without using any force!
The small micro razor is heavier than regular razors. Use that weight to your advantage! Instead of pressing it against your skin, hold it against your skin and shave it off.

4. Shave against the grain if necessary!
Beards grow every day. However, it is said that beards (body hair) become thinner and finer as we get older, so I don't think you need to shave closely.
I think a comfortable shave is better than a close shave.

5. After shaving, wipe thoroughly and take care of your skin!
Once you've finished shaving, be sure to wipe off the soap thoroughly. If any soap remains on your face, it can feel unpleasant and cause skin irritation. Skin care is also important. Doing this properly will leave your skin feeling refreshed.
It depends on the condition of your skin, but we recommend lotions in the summer and moisturizing creams in the winter.
